Angus Middleton – Managing Director (SAC & SACFM)
Mr Middleton is a fund manager and former stockbroker who has extensive experience in the Australian resources sector and in particular in relation to capital raisings for exploration companies.
He is currently a Director of SA Capital Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory firm specialising in equity raisings and underwriting, and the Managing Director of SA Capital Funds Management Limited, an Adelaide based investment fund. SA Capital has been involved in advising and raising equity for corporations in the form of venture capital, seed capital, private equity, pre-initial public offering and initial public offerings. He is also a Director of SA Capital Corporate Pty Ltd an Authorised Corporate Representative (CAR) of SA Capital Pty Ltd.
Prior to becoming a fund manager he was a stockbroker for 25 years and a member of the Adelaide Stock Exchange and then the Australian Stock Exchange. Mr Middleton is also Managing Director of Crest Minerals Limited (ASX: CTT) and a non-executive director of ASX listed Hillcrest Litigation Limited.
Keith Middleton – Director (SAC & SACFM)
Keith Middleton has worked in senior executive positions in major corporations for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the Flinders University in South Australia; major Economics. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of a major Australian manufacturing company.
Keith demonstrates strong analytical skills, encompassing business strategy, relationship marketing and financial modelling, applied within a range of business environments. Keith has extensive experience in major capital works projects, project management and new business evaluation.
He is an experienced operator and company director with his skills and knowledge gained at executive levels of management in the public, corporate and small business arenas. With companies such as David Jones; Coles Myer; and BHP Billiton. His most recent success has been his involvement in the achievement of earnings growth by a major Australian manufacturing business with a focus on sales, margins, costs and management performance, resulting in increased enterprise value for shareholders.
Christine Middleton – Director & Company Secretary (SAC & SACFM)
Christine began her career in the health sector which enabled her to gain strong skills in administration and systems. She has a Diploma in applied science (Nursing). She resigned her role in health to raise two children.
Since SA Capital was formed, Christine has been actively involved in the companies day to day operations, undertaking the role of company secretary and is also a Director. Her main duties involve secretarial duties, liaison with clients, assisting in the preparation of client presentations and general clerical and bookkeeping duties. She also undertakes these duties for SACFM.
Harold Kim Thomas – Director (SACFM)
Kim is a chartered accountant who operates his own chartered accounting practice. Kim is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Kim is also a registered tax agent and company auditor.
In addition to the accounting and taxation advisory services provided in his role as a partner and principal of his accounting firm, Kim also advises clients in relation to their investments in a wide range of service industries and general businesses, including the choice of business structures, applications for finance, business plans, dealing with government departments and regularly reviewing and giving feedback on the results and profit drivers of businesses from inception through to various stages of maturity.
Kim also has a strong background in franchising both as a franchisor and franchisee.
Andrew Kenneth Bruce Mortimer – Director (SACFM)
Andrew Mortimer is Chairman of the board of Superstructure International Pty Ltd (Super Structure Services) a mineral resources and industrial corporate consultancy business. Andrew is a lawyer with a degree (LLB) from Sydney University, he is an Associate Member of the Law Society of NSW, he has been admitted as solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW.
Super Structure Services assists companies in their promotion and marketing activities, sourcing market feedback and providing publically available information to investors and brokers in a user friendly format.
Andrew is also Chairman and Managing Director of Proto Resources & Investments Ltd, an ASX listed exploration and development company with the Barnes Hill nickel resource in Tasmania. Proto is also working on a new technology for processing iron based ores.
Andrew is a Non Executive Director for ASX listed Global Nickel Investments NL. In addition, Andrew, through Superstructure International has assisted other companies in the listing process, including sourcing IPO brokers, market feedback, investor contacts and project development.
